Rooted and Rising
This six-week online programme invites you to soften self-criticism, build strength rooted in compassion, and become more fully and unapologetically yourself.
What is Rooted and Rising?
Rooted and Rising – learn, grow and thrive with women by your side – a six-week online journey offers women a weekly two-hour space to reconnect with themselves and other like-minded women.
Through gentle guidance, practical tools, and shared reflection, you will explore what it means to live more authentically, make friends with your feelings, and let go of perfection.
In a warm and supportive circle, you’ll discover the courage to be fully yourself, the freedom to make mistakes, and the strength that comes from seeing your life as a heroine’s journey – uniquely yours, and still unfolding.
Who is Rooted and Rising for?
This retreat is for women of any age, ready to pause, reflect and reconnect with themselves.
Rooted and Rising is for women who may have spent years being strong for others, and now feel ready to walk a gentler, more grounded path back to themselves.
Whether you’re at a time of transition, or feeling stuck, looking for something more, recognising that you could be happier, or just love learning, this experience is designed to hold you wherever you are in your journey.
You can participate in whatever way feels comfortable to you – join the conversation, type your thoughts in chat, or just listen with your camera off.
Everything we share will be kept confidential and you do not need to have experience with group work online. Just bring yourself, exactly as you are, and a device to connect with us on wifi.

Why come?
Over six gently guided weeks, you’ll learn practical tools to build emotional resilience, soothe your inner critic, and begin to trust your instincts again. Through a mix of guided practices, reflective exercises, group connection, and supportive resources, you’ll begin to feel less overwhelmed and more rooted in who you are.
Each week has a theme designed to meet you where you are and help you rise from there. You’ll explore self-kindness, boundaries, nervous system care, identity, and personal power, always at a pace that honours your capacity.

Frequently asked questions
You’re very welcome to take part in whatever way feels most comfortable for you. We welcome quiet women just as much as those who like to talk, and there’s no pressure to share more than you want to; and sometimes we use the chat instead. You don’t need to have your camera on during the sessions (in fact, we sometimes all turn them off for parts of the session). We’ll just ask everyone to briefly switch their camera on at the start so we can say hello and know we’re in a safe, women-only space.
We hope that you won’t as each session builds on the one before, but life happens and if you cannot avoid missing a session all is not lost!
The main topic and some of the group discussions are recorded so you can catch up.
No homework. No pressure to do anything other than be who you are. There is an online group journal which grows with pages to remind you of what we’ve covered each week and with additional questions for you to answer if you want to. But it’s optional for those who want something extra to stay connected during the week.
We co-create a supportive space for gentle enquiry, personal reflection, and realisation. You’ll be offered practices and prompts to explore your own experience, with the focus on what feels right and true for you. It’s not a therapy or coaching group, but it is a space to listen to yourself, with the support of a kind, respectful group.
Yes, absolutely. We want this to be a space where everyone feels safe, so we trust that what’s shared in the group stays within the group. It’s really important to us that everyone feels held and respected.
We connect using Zoom, so you’ll need a computer, tablet or smartphone with a working microphone and camera and a stable internet connection. You may need headphones for extra privacy.
It’s best if you can find a private quiet space where you can join comfortably.
The sessions will be recorded so you can catch up if you miss one or want to revisit anything. The recordings will be available for the duration of the programme plus two weeks, and only shared within the group.
Of course, you’re very welcome to join with a friend! In fact, if you do, we’ll give you both a £20 discount. It can be a lovely way to have extra support between sessions as you explore and put what you’re learning into practice.
We want everyone to feel comfortable, so it’s entirely up to each person whether they choose to share contact details. If women would like to stay in touch afterwards, we’ll support that in a way that feels respectful and safe for everyone.
Most often we run 7 – 9pm on a weekday but let us know if that’s not possible for you as we also run programmes 12 – 2pm on a weekday when there’s enough demand.

What women say about our programmes
“I came for tools, and I got them, but I also found connection, courage, and a version of myself I really like.”
What surprised me most was how seen I felt. It was like being part of a quiet revolution of women choosing to show up differently – for ourselves, and for each other.”
“Kim helped me find my footing again. I’ve stopped trying to be everything for everyone and started listening to what I need. And I don’t feel guilty!”
“I didn’t expect to feel such a deep shift in just six weeks, but something changed. I feel lighter, more myself than I have in years.”
